As the kids are completely obsessed with Lego now, I wanted something a bit more organised than the current "spread it all over the loungeroom floor and slowly watch the Lego collection evaporate into the vacuum cleaner" system.

We found a cheap set of Ikea drawers on Gumtree, and had a slab of kitchen counter wood left over from my desk I made. Throw it all in the blender with some white spraypaint, a mitre saw, some oil, and a few screws...

Quick and easy build, and the overhang lets them sit at it like a desk when playing with the Lego. I still want to put a little edge across the back and left/right sides, but still trying to figure out the best/cleanest way to do that.
